This is to invite discussion from all participants to share their experiences as to what they learnt from the meeting and the Nobel Laureates. This would prove useful not only for other participants but for all students and scientists in general.

I think thatif one sits to jot down all the lessons learnt at lindau, this post will not end soon...
foremost for me though were these:
1. importance that the world gives to basic research over and above clinical research.
2. importance of being persuasive and persistent in one's quest for knowledge learning for the pure joy of learning.
3. finally, the importance of keeping all lines of communication open between scientists and researchers, worrld over.
so lets all keep in touch coz we still have a long way to go, both individually as well as a team...
